Business trip to Kaliningrad

On May 24th to 25th NLCC together with DCC, SCC and FLCC arranged the trip to Kaliningrad on a business mission to understand the business culture and the opportunities of this part of Russia country.  22 participants registered to the trip and had a unique experience to visit Kaliningrad.

The trip began with delegates visiting “Produkty Pitania” - local capital company  wich are the leaders  in Russian market in frozen ready-to-cook meals. General Manager of the company Tatjana Luneva gave a presentation about company and explained more about possibilities to bring their production to Russia and future perspectives about this region.

Later everyone visited “DSV Transport” -part of  Danish owned logistic company operating in Kaliningrad. General Manager - Stepanyuk Leonid Pavlovich, gave a company presentation and  shared their experience about  working in Kaliningrad, challenges and oppurtunities.
After that all delegants  came back to the hotel and heard presentations  about “Energotransbank”  which was made by Chairman of the Board- Yury Ponomarev. The presentation about Chamber of Commerce in Kaliningrad were also presented.
During all the company visits our delegation was accompanied by Arne Grove, head of the Nordic Council of Ministers in Kaliningrad and cofounder of Investment Forum in Kaliningrad.

 Next day participants had a tour around the Kaliningrad, visited Ocean museum, where they could see the and go inside to  the real Russian submarine and scientific-research vessel Vitiaz (1949-1979)

Later on the delegates took the road via Svetlogorsk, small resort city in the region, and then via Nida and Klaipeda came back to Vilnius.

According to the participants, the trip turned out to be successful. Delegates had a unique opportunity to understand business opportunities and business culture in Kaliningrad.

NLCC wants to give a warm thank you to everyone that participated  in the trip and helped to arrange it: Estravel and Nordic Council of Ministers in Kaliningrad. We are pleased to hear that the trip were enjoyed  and it was found not only  informative but also entertaining.
